Happy New Years Newgrounds!!

2023 was a pretty good year overall in my opinion, I think one of the great things about this site is it really helps in terms of being able to see what you gotta improve on and what worked + what didn't. Despite me looking back and enjoying a lot of the art I made in the past year and even beyond in retrospect, in the moment I was in a really bad creative rut from around Summer 2022- Jan 2023 and again during March 2023-July 2023. Some pieces I kinda cringe at now because they lacked proper anatomy and originality on my end and it really felt I was just drawing the same things on my end. I had a lot of plans I wanted to do personally but I gave up almost immediately whenever I'd get a part of it done, and end up feeling like I "wasted" another year.

For 2024 I really want to change that. I really want to do more then just regular fan art and actually working on my writing + animation skills! Whether or not it'd be for original or fan works that's the main thing I'm interested in right now, and I'm super excited to start actually moving forward creatively for my own personal enjoyment, not just for the small little numbers on my computer screen that dictated some of the stuff I felt I "needed" to make to see it go up. I'm really happy I finally feel like I can move past that!

I'm yapping way too much but despite that thank you a shit ton for all of the support on this site and if you follow me on other socials, seriously it means a lot to have your work seen by anyone. Take care and cheers to a better year!!
